AMU Sultans crowned champions of HCV Softball Rivals League 2026
AMU Sultans have steadily developed into a competitive cricket team through their participation in tournaments across Hessen. In just two years, the team has progressed from local competitions to league success under the Hessischer Cricket Verband (HCV).
A successful championship campaign
The 2026 HCV Softball Rivals League brought together 23 teams competing for the championship. AMU Sultans performed consistently throughout the competition, finishing first in the league stage and progressing through the subsequent rounds. The team secured the title through teamwork, determination, discipline and commitment.
Captain Sheikh Suleman led the team throughout the campaign. His leadership guided AMU Sultans through the competition and played an important role in the championship journey.
From a newly formed team to champions
The championship is especially meaningful because AMU Sultans were established only in 2024. In two years, the team has gained valuable experience in tournaments across Hessen and built a strong foundation for future success.
Winning the HCV Softball Rivals League is an important milestone and reflects the team's continued growth and commitment to competitive cricket.
A proud moment for the AMU community
The victory is a proud moment for the wider AMU community in Germany and adds a memorable chapter to the team's sporting history. It celebrates the dedication of the players, the leadership of Captain Sheikh Suleman and the team spirit behind this achievement.
Based in Frankfurt, AMU Sultans look forward to building on this success and representing the AMU community in cricket competitions across Hessen and beyond.
